Hi the Tortoise and my Hair!

My name is Katie, and I work for Guelph’s campus & community radio station, CFRU 93.3 FM, as their Local Music Distribution Coordinator.

I am creating a digital mailout consisting of exciting new music by Guelph (and nearby) artists. This mailout will be distributed to other campus & community radio stations across Canada as a way to promote, and support local talent.

I am reaching out to ask if you would be interested in having your latest release, he art sha ped plan ha te, included in this mailout - where approximately 75 stations would then consider adding it to their music libraries for airplay.

In the process, we would also add “he art sha ped plan ha te” to CFRU’s own music library, making it available for airplay here.

If possible, we’d love to hear back from you by Friday, February 23rd if you are interested in participating. If you decide you’d like to participate, I will provide you with the relevant information I’d need regarding your new release (album info, file types, etc.) along with a request to have the files sent in to us by March 1st.

As a participant, we would also provide you with an artist guide with instructions and tips for following up with the radio stations we have sent your music to. You would also receive contact information for the radio stations, how to monitor for chart activity, and additional options for submitting future releases to radio stations, including a discount code for Earshot Distro.

I am available to answer any questions about what this entails or what I’d need from you if you choose to accept the offer. Please let me know.
